About us
Our Scooters
Our scooters and motorcycles are generally no more than 4 years old and are in good condition, apart from a few wear and tear scratches. Each scooter is fitted with a phone holder, and we also supply the helmet, second helmet is available for rent.
Our Scooters are registered as two seaters
Rental Costs
Depending on which scooter or motorcycle you rent, and for what term you rent for, please see our rentals prices. There is also a security bond payable when picking up the scooter, this will be returned at the end of the rental period if there is no damage to the scooter when it’s returned.
Weekly Rate
If you end up renting the scooter for four weeks or more, we will reduce the rate to monthly for you.
Monthly Rate
If the scooter is returned in less than four weeks, then the weekly rate will apply, this may be taken from your Bond when you return the scooter.

Scooter Maximum Travel distances Brisbane
- 110cc scooters should not be taken past the zone 2 area (see map below)
- 125cc or greater motorcycle should remain within the boundary of the entire map area (see map below)
- Should the renter relocate their address outside of the Brisbane and Gold Coast regions, then the scootermotorcycle should be returned.

We can deliver the scooter if you require, please contact us for a price to delivery to you.
Renter Requirements
- Renter should hold a valid rider licence for the class of vehicle being rented Australian or overseas.
- Rider needs to be a minimum 22 years of age.
- Current CreditDebit card or Australian bank account
- We do not rent scooters or motorcycles to Learners, QLD RE Open OK
Roads Tolls
Team Black Rental scooters are not registered for tolls, if you’re planning to travel on toll roads you will need to open an account with Linkt. Please download the Linkt app on your phone. Then create a prepay account. Add the scooter registration number to your account, don’t forget to remove from your account when returning the scooter.
If you go through a toll and have no toll account you will have 3 days to pay, you can open an account or just pay for the day you went through the Toll. Should you go through a toll and not pay within three days, we will receive a bill for the toll and a late fee, this will be passed onto you the renter.
The renter will be asked to show proof of the linkt account on the scooter return. If the renter fails to do so, $50 of the bond will be held up for two weeks to search for unexpected tolls.
What we need from you
- Copy of your driver’s licence, if overseas licence we will need a copy of your passport too.
- First weeks Rent
- Bond
- Delivery charge deposit if required
- Seconed Helmet Rent if required
Insurance
Our Scooters or motorcycles come with fully comprehensive; however, surcharge fees may apply in certain circumstances such as under 25 riders.
An Insurance excess charge of $500 payable by you for any insurance claim
If not at fault, then the excess will be refunded.
Any small damage to the scooter upon its return will be taken from the renter’s bond.
Fuel
The scooters or motorcycles takes 91 unleaded petrol. The scooter or motorcycle will be supplied with a full tank, please refuel before returning or a charge from you bond will be taken.
Scooter Breakdown
Should the scooter suffer a failure we will assist as best we can to try and fix the scooter or issue you with a replacement (if Available).
